Neanderthal Traffic Engineer

One of the people I play games with is a Traffic Engineer with Clark County, WA.  He  received a letter of complaint about a traffic signal from a local citizen.  In the letter he was called "a Neanderthal Traffic Engineer".  So I created the following figure and gave it to him last night.

And yes, I know that the figure is a Cro-Magnon and not a Neanderthal, but it's close enough.

  1. If you listen carefully, you can hear me chuckling away in the background.

Great looking figure, hope your mate was appreciative of it.

    1. He was so happy to get it! I thought we could use it as his character in an ATZ game, but instead he's going to put it in a little display case on his desk. I think he's still chuckling about it too.

    1. Thanks! It was fun to make, my friend really liked it, and it makes me chuckle too. And I still might convince him to use it in one of our ATZ games since we tend to play slightly odd characters anyway.

    1. No, but that's a good reference. (Although I really like the idea of a living T-Rex skeleton running down the streets). Thanks Brummie!

    1. Thanks! I was pleased at how well it painted up, but then the base figure is Copplestone, and they have details that paint up well.

  5. Heh, looks great in both concept and execution. I think he's stocky enough to pass for a Neander, and in a gaming sense he'd make for a great post-apoc setting too. Kudos all around.
