<br />
<big style="font-family: Helvetica, Arial, "Bitstream Vera Sans", Verdana, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">Whelp, I've been away from this thing for over 5 years! I haven't done much in the way of creating terrain or converting minis during that time. However, a few months ago I did actually get off my butt and create something, so I finally figured I should post it here. I originally talked about this at the website</span><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, bitstream vera sans, verdana, sans-serif;"> </span></big><span style="color: orange; font-family: "helvetica" , "arial" , "bitstream vera sans" , "verdana" , sans-serif;"><a href="http://s1.zetaboards.com/Post_Apoc_Wargames/index/" style="color: orange;">Post Apoc Wargames</a> </span><br />
<br />
<br />
<big style="font-family: Helvetica, Arial, "Bitstream Vera Sans", Verdana, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">So basically I built a water truck that travels the wasteland selling, well...water.</span></big><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">I took a 1/43 scale oil(?) truck, and I had a bin full of car/armor bits from Ramshackle. I have to say that I'm a little disappointed in the Ramshackle pieces - the batch I got is made of VERY brittle resin, and I've snapped a few pieces in two. But then again in a post-apoc world things are supposed to look broken, so I guess that's okay.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;"><br /></span>

<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">I decided to change out the thin squidly little front tires with the bulkier Ramshackle ones. </span><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">I'm not worried about the back tires - I'm going to have them partially covered with armor.</span><br />

He received a letter of complaint about a traffic signal from a local citizen. In the letter he was called "a Neanderthal Traffic Engineer". So I created the following figure and gave it to him last night.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhi7VLedHX4BMHR8x7Blbx6xM2weX98RPln48TtxKxZzUliYH9yCUvhJ1eRymX9qY0lpDskaDX12ZBj_XTZ-63abGEyf_5g1gEqv7Z7J5RU2ahN0v3vMIKqG24auoiQN01MKOA4Yl0G4IEX/s1600/Rob+Klug.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhi7VLedHX4BMHR8x7Blbx6xM2weX98RPln48TtxKxZzUliYH9yCUvhJ1eRymX9qY0lpDskaDX12ZBj_XTZ-63abGEyf_5g1gEqv7Z7J5RU2ahN0v3vMIKqG24auoiQN01MKOA4Yl0G4IEX/s320/Rob+Klug.JPG" width="265" /></a></div>
<br />
And yes, I know that the figure is a Cro-Magnon and not a Neanderthal, but it's close enough.ConfusedDadhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10259339508453423111noreply@blogger.com18tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4957749472197105699.post-13966793349163537072012-07-04T23:52:00.000-07:002012-07-04T23:53:45.595-07:00I ACTUALLY COMPLETED SOMETHING!I finally got around to finishing a new post-apocalyptic building. Dice Age Games is the only game store in Vancouver, WA (where I live) so I knew I'd be modelling it sooner or later.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e354/ConfusedDad/ATZ/IMG_0031.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e354/ConfusedDad/ATZ/IMG_0031.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
Yes, it does have a big tower-like thing sticking up out back. The game store is located in a building that used to be part of a water-park, and the tower enclosed the stairs that led to a big water slide.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e354/ConfusedDad/ATZ/IMG_0032.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e354/ConfusedDad/ATZ/IMG_0032.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I'm hoping to get another building or two built this month.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e354/ConfusedDad/ATZ/IMG_0033.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e354/ConfusedDad/ATZ/IMG_0033.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Of course I have to leave with a pic of our hapless survivors being swarmed by my zombies outside the store. That's it for now.</div>

The Real World (work, kids, dogs, etc) has been keeping me busy for awhile. I've restarted organizing my stuff again, and thought I'd post something I used in my Vampire Counts army when I played Warhammer.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiQ-9CbLd2jFaGsOKw3InUxHSD_1v7zpLCSMHjyJ6Npf56XCI7hIB554FmyYaZP0GDI4cbHEcLOKje6wxN909t2OJJC9135xlnFkGs9IgSk2TQ7W22zFzGB8Cd4M0tkYPJqu0ZzK-QkF_86/s1600/IMG_4261.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiQ-9CbLd2jFaGsOKw3InUxHSD_1v7zpLCSMHjyJ6Npf56XCI7hIB554FmyYaZP0GDI4cbHEcLOKje6wxN909t2OJJC9135xlnFkGs9IgSk2TQ7W22zFzGB8Cd4M0tkYPJqu0ZzK-QkF_86/s640/IMG_4261.JPG" width="640" /></a></div><br />
<br />
<br />
I used this little tableau to represent 4 zombies in my rank and file zombie horde.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEguFqmYJb7PuwypF1il1FHP0hIHRv5UYTVgOTgVL6wQngmq-WCcgJ4iMK0GK1ICA5m0lwxSgUgH63iox4IuOUKhJILAQxob6kVTk4hT36mMT7bKQVbXYsm52wXVCKFlAjt_hjWjTfA2suP6/s1600/IMG_4262.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEguFqmYJb7PuwypF1il1FHP0hIHRv5UYTVgOTgVL6wQngmq-WCcgJ4iMK0GK1ICA5m0lwxSgUgH63iox4IuOUKhJILAQxob6kVTk4hT36mMT7bKQVbXYsm52wXVCKFlAjt_hjWjTfA2suP6/s640/IMG_4262.JPG" width="640" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">The zombies are the regular goofy-looking Warhammer zombies. The unfortunate victim came from the Warhammer Giant box. There are seven figures in the set. (Five of them pictured above).<br />

These guys are some of the best zombie figures I've ever bought. There's lot's of detail on the sculpts, and they look animated, like they're slowly shambling.<br />

I finally got around to adding the various bits of gear to the top of the van, and attached the impaled zombie to the front. One thing I realized as I started taking pictures is that I forgot to add the license plate to the back to cover the hole there. But for now I'm making an Executive Decision and officially calling this one DONE!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEit8w_uXZx46UQCvJbS8P9hd3Bv-koJsjM6VknZNH7Fj5uRpeuHHweTiDCWyHHmIST9Sn71VONq6u5wRbQVZw9reuQgLiKStK9Mmusk2RzhfqpkLUgU_r619f46AsBbtaCYvSqkEHoKGBlq/s1600/FRONT+AGAIN2.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" nfa="true" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEit8w_uXZx46UQCvJbS8P9hd3Bv-koJsjM6VknZNH7Fj5uRpeuHHweTiDCWyHHmIST9Sn71VONq6u5wRbQVZw9reuQgLiKStK9Mmusk2RzhfqpkLUgU_r619f46AsBbtaCYvSqkEHoKGBlq/s640/FRONT+AGAIN2.JPG" width="480" /></a></div><br />
Here we have the impaled zombie (well, half a zombie) still clawing the front of the van.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEizhMouUthx8qdYhEuVa_9lpO3Au94w76l876lXfcUoOy25c-cQyNH6FpOJLw3-B6BByOkumBo6fysjo8AUTJwDFp_ExSicA23zU7WEND_Ba2LufOFVbPsGkPUt9FVRcMj4iZBpQ6hBxvA2/s1600/VELMA+SCRAPPY.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" nfa="true" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEizhMouUthx8qdYhEuVa_9lpO3Au94w76l876lXfcUoOy25c-cQyNH6FpOJLw3-B6BByOkumBo6fysjo8AUTJwDFp_ExSicA23zU7WEND_Ba2LufOFVbPsGkPUt9FVRcMj4iZBpQ6hBxvA2/s640/VELMA+SCRAPPY.JPG" width="640" /></a></div><br />
Velma shows off the the right side with the pinned-on Scrappy-Doo pelt, which thanks to a suggestion from Brummie now includes the "Urk! I'm dead!"-tongue hanging out. Thanks Brummie!<br />
<br />

Although it's hard to read in this photo, the back of the van has an Official Zombie Hunting Permit displayed. Even in the Post-Apocalyptic world the Scooby-Gang follows the rules. (Except that they're driving around without a license plate! Urrrghh! I will fix that sometime soon and cover that hole!)<br />

Let's look at some of the stuff the gang carries around. There's a bunch of stakes up front, because the gang will be operating in a post-apocalptic world that will have all sorts of nasties, including vampires or vampire-like creatures. There's a stack of skulls (nice trophies) of significant past victories. A bloody sledge hammer, good for bashing zombie heads. A Left-4-Dead health pack. A bucket of guts to help keep Freddy in line. A basic rolled-up tarp or tent. A barrel of radioactive toxic goo...I have no idea why. Several gas cans. And a burlap-wrapped bale of Shaggy Snacks. (The Scooby Snacks are kept in the van).<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjQogMJMiy9TYW9b3GzNX8sbSrn4cjCRTc3x8vr6RgnGQ7BV1vkNtudIrMHhIrvLkX1BQ5dl9qgANPk_uZGmqMPGzyrOyAmpu1Mx7oxS_NGasNB2iKGSoSCBdHCnPDKwVSGMBZ7CfprnrSk/s1600/IMG_4569.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" nfa="true" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjQogMJMiy9TYW9b3GzNX8sbSrn4cjCRTc3x8vr6RgnGQ7BV1vkNtudIrMHhIrvLkX1BQ5dl9qgANPk_uZGmqMPGzyrOyAmpu1Mx7oxS_NGasNB2iKGSoSCBdHCnPDKwVSGMBZ7CfprnrSk/s640/IMG_4569.JPG" width="640" /></a></div><br />
As you can see the van scales pretty good with the figures. Looks like the Scooby-Gang is ready to start solving post-apocalyptic mysteries, or whatever it is they do in a World Gone Mad...and they'll need all the help they can get as you can see below:<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;"><strong><span style="font-size: x-large;">SCOOBY-DOO and the MYSTERY of the HIDEOUS HIVE CAT!</span></strong></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiHULjmZ0dTkEuqidnmP3g7cRcvgPw1jD22ySpqYR0pFCLGB_pXzTWDKYWREoWA0x_YJQqPYZrPrFuAISKgi7AYa_vk-DrabhMTv-wdtI6xn10brLkAMl6osT0TG7cNMmwhOFfWL9Iyz5I1/s1600/HIDEOUS+HIVE+CAT.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" nfa="true" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiHULjmZ0dTkEuqidnmP3g7cRcvgPw1jD22ySpqYR0pFCLGB_pXzTWDKYWREoWA0x_YJQqPYZrPrFuAISKgi7AYa_vk-DrabhMTv-wdtI6xn10brLkAMl6osT0TG7cNMmwhOFfWL9Iyz5I1/s640/HIDEOUS+HIVE+CAT.JPG" width="480" /></a></div><br />
Sam (aka: The Hideous Hive Cat!) made an unexpected appearance a couple of years ago during a game of Necromunda and became the deadliest creature in the Hive. He's been laying low for long time, but he became very curious as to what I was doing while taking these pictures, so it looks like he might be jumping genres and entering the Post-Apocalyptic Scooby-Doo world...<br />
<br />
Be careful Scooby Gang! If you thought BA Worms were bad, wait till you meet the Hideous Hive Cat!<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">EDIT!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I added the license plate! I went and touched-up/highlighted, primarlily the letters and flowers. I added the finishing details to Scrappy, highlighted the Truck Nutz, did some additional minor cleanup. It looks dirty but that's the look I want, a Post-Apocalyptic-falling-apart piece of machinery. One of the last things I'll do is add an overall dusting with powdered chalks.<br />
<br />
I've started painting the front zombie and the stuff that goes on top separately. I've documented pretty much all the major steps I do when making something like this, so next posting will be when the whole thing's done. <br />
<br />
Here's it is in its current state:<br />

First up was touching up the paint all around and adding rust.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-nYPsdS73T_I/Tv-sX_rrTwI/AAAAAAAAAeE/hqfOGSiKTuc/s1600/IMG_4452.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" rea="true" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-nYPsdS73T_I/Tv-sX_rrTwI/AAAAAAAAAeE/hqfOGSiKTuc/s640/IMG_4452.JPG" width="640" /></a></div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-iNZIx5jcbTA/Tv-tb7PbLLI/AAAAAAAAAeo/Q_j9nLUD_5w/s1600/IMG_4458.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" rea="true" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-iNZIx5jcbTA/Tv-tb7PbLLI/AAAAAAAAAeo/Q_j9nLUD_5w/s640/IMG_4458.JPG" width="640" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-751AHVTNCVE/Tv-tGOG5FnI/AAAAAAAAAec/wXsCBe6HKgk/s1600/IMG_4457.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" rea="true" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-751AHVTNCVE/Tv-tGOG5FnI/AAAAAAAAAec/wXsCBe6HKgk/s640/IMG_4457.JPG" width="480" /></a></div><br />
Now comes the DIPPING! I'm always happy when I come to the dipping part because it means the end is in sight for finishing up the model. <br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-TmytoBi_CEQ/Tv-uWnjJkSI/AAAAAAAAAe0/b08D40vKKUo/s1600/IMG_4459.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" rea="true" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-TmytoBi_CEQ/Tv-uWnjJkSI/AAAAAAAAAe0/b08D40vKKUo/s640/IMG_4459.JPG" width="640" /></a></div><br />
The van is too big to actually dip, so what I do is sorta "paint" Army Quickshade over the whole thing.<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-2tg7tjYRheg/Tv-u3vRqSgI/AAAAAAAAAfA/dc7bnv8wBo0/s1600/IMG_4462.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" rea="true" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-2tg7tjYRheg/Tv-u3vRqSgI/AAAAAAAAAfA/dc7bnv8wBo0/s640/IMG_4462.JPG" width="640" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-T4vH0K25zmo/Tv-vKFke-RI/AAAAAAAAAfM/glurYSggQ0w/s1600/IMG_4464.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" rea="true" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-T4vH0K25zmo/Tv-vKFke-RI/AAAAAAAAAfM/glurYSggQ0w/s640/IMG_4464.JPG" width="640" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-DkbFUtoRAg0/Tv-vV6Zxn-I/AAAAAAAAAfY/p5LdVTg1qCE/s1600/IMG_4465.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" rea="true" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-DkbFUtoRAg0/Tv-vV6Zxn-I/AAAAAAAAAfY/p5LdVTg1qCE/s640/IMG_4465.JPG" width="640" /></a></div><br />
Ah yes, it's starting to get that grubby post-apocalyptic look now. The next step is to let it dry thoroughly for a day or two. Then I'll hit it with a matte spray to get rid of the gloss. I'll be assembling the stuff that goes on top separately. I'm also painting the impaled front zombie separately. I'll need to highlight the whole van here and there, and hit it with rust and dirt colored chalks to further dirty it up. I have a couple of items to add to detail the back too.<br />
<br />
I'm hoping to have a finished product by the end of the week. <br />
<br />

<div class="separator" style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none; clear: both; text-align: justify;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-oL2uMH7CjaM/TvKmnL0xyLI/AAAAAAAAAdI/Tsjz9Hy-HFo/s1600/IMG_4408.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" rea="true" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-oL2uMH7CjaM/TvKmnL0xyLI/AAAAAAAAAdI/Tsjz9Hy-HFo/s640/IMG_4408.JPG" width="640" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none; clear: both; text-align: justify;">I started touching up the paint here and there; rough-painted orange flowers in the wheels and on the body; and used black to base-paint areas that will be metal.</div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"><br />
</div><br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-6wcsbaHdPEo/TvKn157Zw2I/AAAAAAAAAds/IxV9JpjLIUM/s1600/IMG_4407.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" rea="true" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-6wcsbaHdPEo/TvKn157Zw2I/AAAAAAAAAds/IxV9JpjLIUM/s640/IMG_4407.JPG" width="480" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">On the back I added a pair of zombie heads as a Post-Zombie Apocalypse form of Truck-Nutz. For those unaware of Truck-Nutz, it's a typically crass American car accessory. It's probably best if I just let you Google it for yourselves.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />

</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">Just remeber everything is in a real raw, rough form right now. It will look better, I promise!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">There's lot's of stuff to do. I have a LOT of touch-up/clean-up work to do; need to add rust; paint the "steel" metal pieces (patches, back bumper), add details. Plus the "dipping", highlighting, weathering, and all the junk that'll go on top. I hope to get some more done this week-end.</div>ConfusedDadhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10259339508453423111noreply@blogger.com7tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4957749472197105699.post-20944255410962385112011-12-18T10:04:00.000-08:002011-12-18T10:04:19.282-08:00Mystery Machine WIP - UpdateOkay, I thought I wouldn't be working on this for awhile but I've been up since 4:00 am with coughing fits and a sore throat (Some sort of Creeping Crud is working its way through our family...I just hope I'm not Patient Zero...). <br />
<br />
Anyway, with nothing better to do I thought I'd work on the van. After staring at it for a while I decided it needed some more "OOMPH!" for the front. Spikes seemed the way to go so I broke out a box of toothpicks, cut them down to size, drilled a few holes in the front bumper and started adding them to the van.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj3p5IuXXHcToppCj5E3zgiJzJbIUFchMrvwINaNyuv5jzGfzAcGTb0_ufr7p6hHgmbumvv1-ltjI0DJFnpM7DwBmreqO-IhibePQuVUl5ZDEnP1gZ9DnDv2YfeI59pQMuKRKI6fxN7qzDY/s1600/IMG_4389.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" oda="true" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj3p5IuXXHcToppCj5E3zgiJzJbIUFchMrvwINaNyuv5jzGfzAcGTb0_ufr7p6hHgmbumvv1-ltjI0DJFnpM7DwBmreqO-IhibePQuVUl5ZDEnP1gZ9DnDv2YfeI59pQMuKRKI6fxN7qzDY/s640/IMG_4389.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>I was on the right track but it still wasn't providing the "OOMPH!" I wanted, so I thought about it some more and then searched through the bits box.<br />

I want him separate so I can clean him up, add some green stuff guts, and paint him before attaching him permanently.<br />
<br />
This is pretty typical of how I work on projects. I'm usually making changes on the fly, and often really good ideas don't come up until the project's partially completed.<br />
<br />
I think I'm going to continue with these mini-updates. I wasn't planning on it as I usually just post stuff when it's done, but I think it'd be nice to see how a piece slowly evolves into the final product, at least for me. I have very few pics of my stuff when it's only partially done. Plus it'll show the difference it makes to go back and clean up the painting, and what Army Quickshade does, and all that stuff.<br />
<br />
But as for now, I'm going to guzzle some highly alcoholic cough-syrup. 'Nite...ConfusedDadhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10259339508453423111noreply@blogger.com7tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4957749472197105699.post-12974944282813665602011-12-16T22:09:00.001-08:002012-04-12T23:06:40.862-07:00Mystery Machine Work-in-ProgressThis is somewhat of a stop-gap posting to let you know I've been working on the Mystery Machine, but it's going slowly. Too much non-gaming needs intruding into my gaming/modelling time. Curse you real life!<br />
<br />
The first and hardest thing was to find an A-100 Series van circa 1966ish in the scale of 1:48 or thereabouts. I scoured the internet and finally found the following:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiuebYdGbW1b76lF_SGNyO78bBKWX_CDq5Nu6ZQvlBS9jbrklt5ErZisr4beS2_6xOt6_YEuMrP-fhfn-kfyWkJznMqUhd-d6fjiMtWtGuFF9QLDf81mmBkIwhFYzc70EtpGcdFcU3UFg9N/s1600/IMG_4371.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" oda="true" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiuebYdGbW1b76lF_SGNyO78bBKWX_CDq5Nu6ZQvlBS9jbrklt5ErZisr4beS2_6xOt6_YEuMrP-fhfn-kfyWkJznMqUhd-d6fjiMtWtGuFF9QLDf81mmBkIwhFYzc70EtpGcdFcU3UFg9N/s640/IMG_4371.JPG" width="640" /></a></div><br />
This "ZINGERS!" Super Van plastic model was cheap to get, it's in the right scale (1:48), and the van body is the correct type. But it's got lot's of cartoony elements that I don't want (which is ironic, since I'm trying to replicate a cartoon van).<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh80FIGYOFmmShCSgnew3nSsq1WoL0khhNhBlQb24ZTTzJITrbgUFTB5s56bI8_TN871S25iFUqrP9-15xbC9zC0wFYqt1BDhudMUskjtFf8B_gSUgdTeXfsZJujMlrq5URhKuZVxRVf296/s1600/IMG_4348.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" oda="true" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh80FIGYOFmmShCSgnew3nSsq1WoL0khhNhBlQb24ZTTzJITrbgUFTB5s56bI8_TN871S25iFUqrP9-15xbC9zC0wFYqt1BDhudMUskjtFf8B_gSUgdTeXfsZJujMlrq5URhKuZVxRVf296/s400/IMG_4348.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><br />
So I started the conversion process. I ditched the cartoony tires, exhaust pipes and engine sticking out of the top (into the bits box!). I had to fill the hole in the top with Plasticard and putty. I switched out the tires with more size-appropriate ones from another plastic car model (which will end up as a burnt-out or stripped wreck - waste not want not!). I had to carve two of the wheel-wells a little larger to accomodate the front tires, which required me to add couple of sheets of Plasticard to the chassis to block the line of sight past the front wheels. Otherwise you'd see all the messy glue and markings and miscellaneous crap under the front.<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhbFb8EHQPAMQ4DxDm5WgZ0Bxyf8RN9lQ-Dykte9BRfmAQJKBL07Xy2CuMtxitIb-rkGdIa3Zbi62AXZkqZ1YQogIhdpZ-uIwv2mGgACTcqLHCF4t4iDgw0ttKZOriUs0VJHk6ChpuAv_zm/s1600/IMG_4367.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" oda="true" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhbFb8EHQPAMQ4DxDm5WgZ0Bxyf8RN9lQ-Dykte9BRfmAQJKBL07Xy2CuMtxitIb-rkGdIa3Zbi62AXZkqZ1YQogIhdpZ-uIwv2mGgACTcqLHCF4t4iDgw0ttKZOriUs0VJHk6ChpuAv_zm/s640/IMG_4367.JPG" width="640" /></a></div><br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhZhc8eSKvXADr5Z58rK_6kkLg4rPH0e_rIIGcL6dcwH6ZR0mMZQgK7HpQd3DgmZFPkKXhsWKMEykGI3vZl5y-trk3mDjRyO2EytHwAg-Wk8WTBiksDy84eQh5t_BtgoJN89ZX32qIHy6HG/s1600/IMG_4369.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" oda="true" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhZhc8eSKvXADr5Z58rK_6kkLg4rPH0e_rIIGcL6dcwH6ZR0mMZQgK7HpQd3DgmZFPkKXhsWKMEykGI3vZl5y-trk3mDjRyO2EytHwAg-Wk8WTBiksDy84eQh5t_BtgoJN89ZX32qIHy6HG/s640/IMG_4369.JPG" width="640" /></a></div><br />
I added wire mesh to the windows, and some additional Plasticard "metal plating" over one of them. I've added Plasticard "metal" patches here and there, and scuffed and nicked up the body somewhat. I glued some sand around the wheel-wells, as I intend to heavily rust these areas and want that corroded rusty-texture here. Cut-up popsicle sticks form a luggage rack for the top, as I intend to fill the top up with gear and stuff.<br />
<br />
I've added a few more fiddly-bits since these photos were taken, and have even started painting, but it's got a ways to go. This won't be a nice bright and pristine Mystery Machine, it's going to be one that's seen battle and is beat-up and dented and somewhat falling apart...not unlike my Zombie Apocalypse Scooby Gang.<br />
<br />
Oh yeah, my freehand isn't very good so the painting of the van won't be great, but it'll do. Also, I decided to keep the van named Mystery Machine instead of Misery Machine, no real reason just liked it better.<br />
<br />
It's going to be slow-going from here on out, but I'll try to keep plugging at it as time allows, and post occasional WIP pics.<br />
<br />
EDIT:<br />
<br />
I took a quick pic of the painting so far:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjL-sLcT8snZz8yMZRGKqEv60JNjJjfih4GjpqGro9sCu0X2ImaSo_NwiVQWbL2SeVkoDGUX_7UOPrizHO-iCKwcIBp3gBwnejolqrJTT3EWeuFsg4fTVIg1-MgaTAe51-FxJuK9efpFPlC/s1600/IMG_4386.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" oda="true" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjL-sLcT8snZz8yMZRGKqEv60JNjJjfih4GjpqGro9sCu0X2ImaSo_NwiVQWbL2SeVkoDGUX_7UOPrizHO-iCKwcIBp3gBwnejolqrJTT3EWeuFsg4fTVIg1-MgaTAe51-FxJuK9efpFPlC/s320/IMG_4386.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjH8SxqNreDbdCMzKOLEp7ifFNYBSMPtAig0gpjxv30mxaX5gU6M8H1prMSuOgTy9aYVFUBbifQyUYN_n-zFRfFdX-16_5pFBWYP2t8jeAR80XxfI5MRRBQYAKRCOYQWCrtMxqBZyhPz3sJ/s1600/IMG_4387.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" oda="true" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjH8SxqNreDbdCMzKOLEp7ifFNYBSMPtAig0gpjxv30mxaX5gU6M8H1prMSuOgTy9aYVFUBbifQyUYN_n-zFRfFdX-16_5pFBWYP2t8jeAR80XxfI5MRRBQYAKRCOYQWCrtMxqBZyhPz3sJ/s320/IMG_4387.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><br />
This is still VERY rough and in the early stages. There's LOTS of work to do. So far I've blocked in the blue and green areas, along with some orange text. I still need to touch up everything; add curves where the green and blue meet; add orange flowers; paint the windows; paint the "metal" patches & back armor; paint the inner wheels; clean up the tires; paint "rust" along the wheel-wells and other places; hit the entire thing with Quick Shade; hit it with matte spray; add highlights; add weathering, and oil splotches and blood splatters....WHEW! And I still need to assemble and paint whatever it is that's going on top! <br />
<br />
It'll probably be awhile before I can post another pic, but when I do there should be major improvements compared to these pics.ConfusedDadhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10259339508453423111noreply@blogger.com6tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4957749472197105699.post-16123813304111057692011-12-04T06:46:00.000-08:002011-12-04T06:46:27.762-08:00The Zombie-Apocalypse Scooby Gang<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">I completely blame Vampifan for the following. Back in September he posted a nice review of Hasslefree's (Not) Scooby Gang, and posted pictures of the painted figures. I had seen the unpainted miniatures on Hasslefree's website before, and had made a mental note to maybe purchase those figures, but then again maybe not. But once I saw Vampifan's painted figures on his blog, and saw how nice they looked, I decided that I had to get them and add them to my collection somehow. So I purchase the set from Hasslefree, and the figures went into the big pile of Figures-That-Need-To-Be-Painted-Sometime. And they would've stayed there for a year or so as other figures worked their way through the painting queue.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">But Vampifan also posted the following picture on his blog:</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiZmQxn1hrynjlbbw4bd8GImdAto7jGtXYDSjKsEQejBPkQHjlOEqyR6_t_ysfl6iAc1cHKaQJXjAnGyUGWOUJCT-7v52M3PClUZP_SUN99RhyW0n2KQsxg_4xhEdCD0OkJCHMyEtk2atM5/s1600/IMG_4267.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" dda="true" height="454" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiZmQxn1hrynjlbbw4bd8GImdAto7jGtXYDSjKsEQejBPkQHjlOEqyR6_t_ysfl6iAc1cHKaQJXjAnGyUGWOUJCT-7v52M3PClUZP_SUN99RhyW0n2KQsxg_4xhEdCD0OkJCHMyEtk2atM5/s640/IMG_4267.JPG" width="640" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">Once I saw this Post-Apocalyptic/Monster-Hunting Velma, the bells and alarms went off in my head and I knew I had to do something similar with my (Not) Scooby Gang. Once I get an idea like this that fires up my imagination it kinda kicks me into overdrive, so I fretted over the conversions I needed to do, came up with some ideas, and bumped the Scooby figures to the front of the line. I finished the last one yesterday. So without any further ado, I give you the Zombie-Apocalypse Scooby Gang:</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />

So what's been happening to the gang since the undead have risen to feast on the living?<br />

He's gone from being the gang's leader to being the gang's mascot/house-pet. An earlier encounter with a zombie that ended poorly for Fred turned him into one living dead. On the plus side he has more personality now than he did when alive. Not wanting to put him away for good, the Gang keeps him well-fed with heaping helpings of internal organs, which seems to keep his Must-Feed-On-The-Living instincts in check. I figured I could use a modified version of the Reich Zombie rules from NUTS! War Without End (Ignores humans within 12" of Daphne). </div><div align="justify"><br />

<br />
Right now I only have 3 trailers, and that hardly counts as a trailer "park". But I have another box of three waiting for me to get to it, so rest assured it is in the queue. (I just can't promise when I'll get to it...too many other things to do!)<br />
<br />
<br />
EDIT:<br />
<br />
Here's Good Dog Carl - creator of the dog turds:<br />

<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">This model has nothing to do with zombies or the post-apocalypse. Next up is a figure I did a long time ago that not only saw action on the Warhammer battlefield, but can definitely see action in a future post-apoc game.<br />

I used to play Warhammer Fantasy, and of course I had a Vampire Counts army because of the zombie-related theme. For awhile I had a small unit of Ogres as a Dogs of War mercenary group as part of the army.<br />

Okay, that's it. None of these ogres would work well in our All Things Zombie campaign, but they may make an appearance in some future post-apocalyptic game. I saw the new Thing movie with my daughter yesterday and other members of the family and friends saw a later showing, and we all LOVED it! The thing is (and sorry for the unintentional pun) you have to take the movie for what it is - a very good B-Movie monster flick. It makes several "nods" to the Carpenter flick, and we had fun going "Oh, so that's why such-and-such was in the Carpenter flick." I thought the creature effects were fantastic. This Thing scuttles around and chases you and crashes through walls and makes you go' "OH SH*T!". In the Carpenter film Clark says, "I don't know what it is, but it's weird and pissed off!" Well, the Thing in this movie is VERY weird and VERY pissed off.<br />
<br />
The one main gripe I had with this film is the music. It often reverts to cliched Loud-Horns-And-Loud-Violins-Something-Exciting-Is-Happening music. I would've preferred more of the creepy Carpenter-film score; but that's a pretty minor quibble for me. <br />
<br />
Go assimilate some friends and go see it!ConfusedDadhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10259339508453423111noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4957749472197105699.post-61779175372154610492011-10-13T22:55:00.000-07:002011-10-13T22:55:14.226-07:00Filling Out the FarmI just finished up the additional buildings that go with the barn I have. Some of the pictures are a little fuzzy because all I have is an iPhone to snap photos, but they look good enough to me. I also got an app on the phone that lets me edit the photos and add comic book text and word balloons, so yeah, I went a little crazy playing with that. But I had fun doing it. </div><br />
The following batrep takes place sometime within the first month of the outbreak (I didn't really tie down the time). The situation so far:<br />
<br />
We have our home in the suburbs of Vancouver, WA. Our house is being barricaded up. The local neighborhood still hasn't been cleaned out completely. We have 6 food units, a couple of luxury items (Rum and toilet paper), a bunch of improvised weapons (Garden tools), a Honda Civic (Sedan, no gas). I have a baseball bat, and am using the rules from the Risks and Rewards Deck (if swung with two hands adds an additional 2d6 to melee). The only gun is a shotgun that is being used by Next-Door-Neighbor Scott.<br />
<br />
For this batrep we decided to go into the nearby neighborhood to scavage supplies. Next-Door-Neighbor Scott and I will head out on foot. My wife, Big (Bad) Mama and our two dogs will stay at home and guard it for us, so they won't appear in this batrep.<br />
<br />
Let's start!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEguuYLTZ9Ubc-lE7bK2JX691prmYauntxs1UzMulZ_0ra8sk3KKU5F_Fl2hISHOdfsX5Fl8L5P4F7Q7ucWd8v6AP7DBL_qdNlapZgVnPlzStuq3MdwIRQWdfhIJJ0p7czE9_oLW2CathKcD/s1600/IMG_1000000652.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" kca="true" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEguuYLTZ9Ubc-lE7bK2JX691prmYauntxs1UzMulZ_0ra8sk3KKU5F_Fl2hISHOdfsX5Fl8L5P4F7Q7ucWd8v6AP7DBL_qdNlapZgVnPlzStuq3MdwIRQWdfhIJJ0p7czE9_oLW2CathKcD/s640/IMG_1000000652.JPG" width="496" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />

Being a Star, I calmly waiting for the attacking zombie to reach me (I have no gun to fire pre-emptively). I do have a basebal bat that I'm using two-handed. So my melee dice are: 4d6 for my Rep, +1d6 for Brawler, +1d6 for a higher impact weapon, and another +2d6 for the baseball bat's bonus = 8d6 vs. the zombie's measly 1d6. No contest right? Well the battle went as follows:</div><div style="text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: left;">First Round - ConfusedDad = 5 successes Zombie = 1 sucess</div><div style="text-align: left;">2nd Round - ConfusedDad = 3 successes Zombie = 1 sucess</div><div style="text-align: left;">(I'm starting to worry a little now)</div><div style="text-align: left;">3rd Round- ConfusedDad = 1 success Zombie = 0 sucess</div><div style="text-align: left;"><br />
</div>The zombie goes down, and I suffer a near heart-attack at almost getting eaten within the first 5 minutes of the game!<br />
<br />
Meanwhile, Next-Door-Neighbor Scott decides to blast away at an approaching zombie.<br />

The noise of the first start up try actually generated 2 new zombies, but unfortunately my gaming table is actually our dining table, and I was getting kicked off, so I didn't place them. (With 4 units of gas in the tank).<br />
<br />
All-in-all a successful mission, even though I didn't get a gun or gain any allies. We both killed zombies, we got a resource (car and gas), and neither one was incapacitated. Afterwards, we both rolled for advancement. I stayed Rep 4, but Next-Door-Neighbor Scott went up from Rep 3 to Rep 4.<br />
<br />
And that's pretty good for one of my games of All Things Zombie. <br />

I pretty much copied the ideas from the Survivalist's house on the Zombietown website.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh4OWvfMw4wifoEqNlP7SWgk62DRx6HTFtXR4UlgaXTlsW_2-3RWdRUFjdz9A0xK-1hV9CdWUQdihr1t1D2sJIA-d9zd_E_0AHoGxA12-Rmyl9GlUqRrnugZykl8UCIlDAC_O_KkxENMkAF/s1600/IMG_1000000356.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" hca="true" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh4OWvfMw4wifoEqNlP7SWgk62DRx6HTFtXR4UlgaXTlsW_2-3RWdRUFjdz9A0xK-1hV9CdWUQdihr1t1D2sJIA-d9zd_E_0AHoGxA12-Rmyl9GlUqRrnugZykl8UCIlDAC_O_KkxENMkAF/s400/IMG_1000000356.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><br />
Note that our survivalist friend has learned a few things from the mistakes of his late neighbors. First off, the windows are boarded-up with metal bars, not easily ripped apart wood. The bars were made from leftover plastic sprues cut to length and painted metal color.<br />
<br />
The door is reinforced metal that no zombie horde will be bashing in anytime soon. The door is simply plasticard cut to fit. To make the rivets, I "dimple" the plasticard with a drill-bit, very carefully pushing and turning it on the backside to slowly dimple it out. It's real easy to puncture the plasticard, and then you end up with a hole where a rivet should be. It's not my favorite technique but I'm too lazy to punch out little tiny round disks (rivets) and glue them on.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjZuslxG9NuNS8yhip3S1ajxg2ZzVcSXMov1vBkRczzDnssBlX2W6bWKckFObXUHv9m7IfeOev4Y5zOL1i0bofUCajXmrBNSZDp-1RPqmgn2UJwG5VK9gDyDAfZQBxFDwAk5vnucYher6RE/s1600/IMG_1000000357.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" hca="true" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjZuslxG9NuNS8yhip3S1ajxg2ZzVcSXMov1vBkRczzDnssBlX2W6bWKckFObXUHv9m7IfeOev4Y5zOL1i0bofUCajXmrBNSZDp-1RPqmgn2UJwG5VK9gDyDAfZQBxFDwAk5vnucYher6RE/s400/IMG_1000000357.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I made a little escape-hatch on the roof from some balsa-wood and plasticard. I figured our homeowner would crash up there every so often, so I added a couple of worn-out mattresses too. Even the roof is reinforced with metal. I tend to use a lot of corrugated metal in my post-apocalyptic terrain, so I ended buying a paper-crimper from a craft store.</div> <br />

Oh, and the Hunter is a Ghoul figure from Black Cat Bases, no conversion needed.<br />

Well, now that they're a complete group of four, it's time to drop them in the middle of trouble and see how they do. That's it for now.<br />

I finished these two zombie-apocalypse survivors just a couple of days ago, and I'm pleasantly surprised how they turned out. They are of course Francis and Bill from Left 4 Dead, and they were pretty easy to convert.<br />
<br />

To create Francis, I started with an EM4 Future Skirmish Biker figure. I had to file off his beard, his pontytail, and his chest hair. The rest is just painting.<br />

Anyway, those two are works-in-progress, but as I complete them I'll post them up and make sure Bill and Francis get some backup.ConfusedDadhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10259339508453423111noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4957749472197105699.post-92049916077349707232011-08-28T17:03:00.000-07:002011-08-28T17:03:53.224-07:00Mercy General Hospital<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>

That's a compromise you have to make with O-scale structures. If this was really going to be as big as a hospital, scale-wise, it would take up the entire gaming table and then some. If it bothers you just think of it as an Outpatient Clinic. Enjoy!</div>ConfusedDadhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10259339508453423111noreply@blogger.com16
